This week, undergraduate students sat for their first set of mid-semester tests from Monday 13th - Wednesday 15th, February 2017.
The Academic Registrar, Mersian Tulyahebwa has cautioned all students who have not cleared their tuition and other University dues to do so as soon as possible in order to facilitate them sit for exams.
“Payment of tuition is a key requirement before you will be allowed to sit for tests. There will be no special tests for anyone that misses a test without a genuine reason and formal permission”, Tulyahewa says.
He further discouraged students who intentionally miss the first set of tests and sit for the second emphasizing that it will affect their final results at end of the semester.
“Similarly, deliberately missing the first test because you know that there will be a second test is unwise and it disadvantages you. I highly discourage such a practice,” said the Academic Registrar.
The postgraduate students will set for their exams during the second block release face to face sessions as communicated by their respective lecturers.
