The seminar was held at UTAMU main campus in Bugolobi and conducted by the Vice Chancellor, Benon Basheka who is also a lecturer in the School of Business and Management.

These seminars are important in the students’ structure of study and help them to improve on their research completion rates.

Prof. Basheka says the goal of this seminar is to provide hands on research experience to students at both Masters levels. It takes students through the research process which includes developing the proposal to how to successfully complete the research project.

Furthermore, the students are provided with tips and ideas about effective and timely completion of their reports and papers.

Prof. Benon Basheka was the instructor at the seminar.

The masters’ second year students have also started doing cross-cutting courses like consultancy skills, legal and ethical issues and entrepreneurship.

“The workshops are helpful to the students and open students to knowledge in consultancy skills, legal and ethical issues and entrepreneurship,” he stated to the UTAMU News team.
