UTAMU Signs MoU with Greenbridge to Deliver High End Computing Needs

Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Greenbridge School of Open Technologies to deliver high end computing needs to Ugandans.

Greenbridge School of Open Technologies is one of the leading centers of computational excellence, training and consulting on Open source Technologies. In partnership with Greenbridge, UTAMU will be able to tap into more advanced computing technologies that will benefit its students.

“Together with UTAMU, we will deliver high end computing needs to the youth, impart them with skills that will help them empower themselves in the employment world,” Dr. Milk Singh, the Director at Greenbridge School.

Speaking at the signing of the MoU, Prof. Benon Basheka, UTAMU Vice Chancellor assured the Green bridge team that UTAMU would ensure the partnership is fully implemented and the two institutions would share resources that will benefit Ugandans youth.

UTAMU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Greenbridge School of Open Technologies to deliver high end computing needs to Ugandans.

“We intend to also tap into the alumni of Greenbridge School to upgrade to diploma, degree and postgraduate academic programmes offered at UTAMU,” he added.

Greenbridge offers professional programmes including linux, robotics, cyber security, android app development among others.

“I recommend UTAMU to explore teaching robotics,” said Eng. Karen Paulcina, the General Manager at Greenbridge.
