The 5th graduation ceremony of Uganda Technology and Management University has been rescheduled to Friday, December 13, 2019.
In an announcement made on Friday, UTAMU Academic Registrar, Mr. Mersian Tulyahebwa, said the graduation date was postponed in order to give students ample time to clear all graduation requirements.
“We want to pull off a well organised graduation ceremony. We are appealing to students to clear all pending graduation requirements in time,” says Mr. Tulyahebwa.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students will be awarded with degrees and diplomas in December. The ceremony is expected to be presided over by UTAMU Chancellor and former Vice President of Kenya, H.E. Hon. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Kalonzo.
Tulyahebwa says more than 150 students are expected to graduate with Masters Degrees, Post-graduate Diplomas, Bachelor’s degrees and Undergraduate diplomas in various disciplines.
Established in 2013, UTAMU currently has a quality team of more than 600 alumni raising the UTAMU flag in various professional fields.
