UTAMU Trains PPDA Stakeholders on How to Use E-Learning System

Uganda Technology and Management University this week trained PPDA staff on how to use an e-learning system at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.

Public Procurement and Disposal of Public assets Authority (PPDA) on Tuesday officially launched its Virtual Learning Environment or E-learning System to its internal and external stakeholders.

The 4-day training was conducted by UTAMU team led by Prof. Jude T. Lubega, the Deputy Vice Chancellor UTAMU alongside the UTAMU e-learning officers.

UTAMU was in 2015 contracted by PPDA to develop an e- learning system for the authority in order to enhance its capacity building mandate in government procurement and disposal processes.

This week it was officially unveiled to the public.

“This E-learning system will increase reach and coverage of stakeholders that require public procurement and disposal knowledge,” said PPDA Executive Director, Ms Cornelia Sabiiti. 

“With this system provides learning to all PPDA stakeholders and it can be accessed from anywhere, at any time and at the wish of the learner”.
