This follows his trip to Uganda to shoot the visuals for his new song “Unforgettable” that left him inspired by the work being done by Mama Hope NGO at its Suubi Health Clinic. The rapper is even rallying his fans to donate to the cause.

All the proceeds will go to expanding the Suubi Health Clinic in Uganda.

“WE ARE IN SHOCK! Last month, famous rapper French Montana went to visit our partners at the Suubi Health Clinic while was in Uganda filming the video for his new song “Unforgettable.” He was so inspired by the incredible work they are doing to provide maternal and child health care that he decided to donate $100,000 to jump-start construction on the new maternity clinic. This new clinic will allow Suubi to extend their services to thousands more people in rural Uganda. We are so stunned and grateful to French Montana, his team and Global Citizen for making this happen!” Mama Hope posted on Facebook.

The Pop That hitmaker, real name Karim Kharbouch, travelled to Uganda in March (17) to film his new music video Unforgettable, and while he was there, he paid a visit to the Suubi Centre healthcare facility in Lubanda Village to witness first-hand how funds raised for the non-profit organisation are used.

French, whose family struggled financially during his childhood in Morocco, reveals he learned about Mama Hope through a mutual friend, and his stop at the Suubi Centre inspired him to do more for organisation officials, who support entrepreneurship worldwide to help kids from tough backgrounds lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

"That touched my heart when I went out there," he told Billboard.com of his trip and the reason for his generous donation, which will directly benefit the Suubi Centre and local blood banks. "I felt like taking my clothes off while I was there and giving it to them there.

"I feel like sometimes God puts you in a platform where you're supposed to help other people."

The hip-hop star decided to feature the fancy footwork of local Ugandan kids in his Unforgettable promo, and he has since launched the Unforgettable Dance Challenge, urging fans to show off their moves to the track on social media to raise awareness and additional donations for Mama Hope.
