Uganda Technology and Management University participated in the 8th International Evaluation conference in Kampala on 27th March 2017.
The 8th AfrEA International Conference 2017 promoted exchange between researchers, academia, emerging evaluators and practitioners on demand and supply of credible evaluative evidence in support of the SDGs in Africa.
UTAMU academic staff and students in the field of evaluation presented papers during the conference. The University exhibited innovations during the conference.
The conference provided learning and networking opportunities for scholars and practioners in the field of evaluation. The 5 day conference was organized by African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) and held at Munyonyo Resort Hotel in Kampala from 27th - 31st March 2017.
The objectives included, to provide a platform for evaluators to share experiences to enhance national evaluation capacities, showcase the use of evaluative evidence in Africa and contribute to the development of emerging evaluators.
