Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is set to launch mentorship programmes to help students make right choices in life.
The program will have lecturers assigned to students to mentor and guide them in making right choices in academics, careers and even their lifestyles.
Furthermore, the university will be holding monthly career guidance evening and nights where it hosts professionals and academic practitioners to talk to students and tip them on life after campus and the employment world.
“It will help students get a glimpse of what’s in the employment world,” said UTAMU Guild President, Sadat Anwar. He was speaking at the 2nd annual Guild General assembly held on Tuesday, 4th April 2017 at the UTAMU Campus.
