Prof. Victor Mbulaheni Mmbengwa

Prof. Mmbengwa is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business and Management of Uganda Technology and Management University. Prof Mmbengwa is currently a manager of small holder market access at the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) in South Africa.

He obtained a PhD in Agricultural Economics (2009) from University Free State (UFS, RSA) and Post doctoral in Economics and Management (2012) at North West University (NWU, RSA). He had a vast accumulated experience working for government and private sector. His academic profile include amongst others Student Technician at Stellenbosch University (1993), Lecturer at the University of the North (2000), senior lecturer (Acting HOD) at UNISA (2009), former Council member at Free State Central University of Technology (CUT) and University of Venda (UNIVEN), an Associate Professor at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (2011) and recently a Project Manager (Enterprises development) at Agricultural Research Council (ARC) (2012).

He has published extensively in the agricultural development, entrepreneurship, small stock dairy physiology and rural development. His research interests range from entrepreneurship, agri-business development, animal science, agricultural economics, community development and rural development.
