Dr. Zwelibanzi Mpehle is an Associate Professor in the Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership (TGSL) at the University of Limpopo (Turfloop Campus), and is currently lecturing masters students on two modules: Public Management in South Africa and Local Government Administration. He also is a member of the School Boardand heads research in the MPA programme of the School, and member of the Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership Executive Committee.
Currently he serves as external marker for postgraduate students for Tshwane University of Technology, Walter Sisulu University, University of KwaZulu-Natal and Stellenbosch University. He also serves as the member of the MPA Department Executive Committee and has peer reviewed articles for the Journal of Public Administration, Administration Publica, the South African Journal of Development & Transformation. He is also a member of the editorial board of the latter journal.
He joined TGSL in 2013 June after having served the University of South Africa which he joined in January 2010 as a lecturer, and promoted to Senior lecturer in August 2012. His modules were Public Service Delivery: Principles and Processes; Organisational Change and Leadership; and Introduction to Public Management.His other previous experience includes teaching in all levels of public institutions, and has vast experience in managing personnel in public institutions as he served as deputy principal and principal in the Gauteng Province, South Africa. He was also employed as a post level 1 teacher for over ten years, but also served as the minister of the Gospel from 1984 to 1986.
