The Bachelor of Information Systems and Technology seeks to develop high quality human resources for the public and private sectors so as to maximize the utility of ICT in organization. Specifically, the program seeks to produce graduates who will be able to:
- Exploit the entrepreneurial aspects of ICT in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the organizations
- Plan, manage and configure networks and computer systems so as to improve their utility and effectiveness in organizations
- Specify and test computer systems necessary in the day today running of organizations
- Integrate, evolve and tune systems in organizations
- Competently utilize ICT to support the different levels of management
The graduates will need to have both the factual knowledge as well as the investigative skills to suit in the different scenarios. The content and delivery methodology will therefore be carefully assembled to give the student ability to go through a holistic training that will involve face to face lectures, online learning, seminars, tutorials and self-study.

Program Duration
The program will extend over a period of three academic years. An academic year shall consist of two semesters and one recess term. A semester shall consist of 15 weeks of lectures. A recess term shall consist of 10 weeks.
