Call for Papers: for the 6th UTAMU ICTM Conference
The 6th International Conference on Technology and Management (ICTM-20) cordially invites you to present academic papers and case studies in the areas of Technology and Management from 7th to 9th September, 2020, in Kampala, Uganda. Technology and Management are undoubtedly drivers for both public and private enterprises and organizations. Today, we understand that technology drives all what we do irrespective of service domain. Therefore, managing service provision and the technologies integrated within the organizations is very important for development.
Organised jointly by Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) and Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI), ICTM-20 will provide a distinctive environment where authors, practitioners, researchers, professionals and academicians can engage in the future developments in terms of service provision.
ICTM-20's theme is "Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0/4IR) Advancement and Solutions: Trends, Issues, Best Practices, Benefits and Challenges for Management and Governance in Africa." The conference opens with a colloquium of outstanding innovations and seminars, followed by two days of paper, panel and practitioner sessions addressing topics related to the theme. 4IR has the potential to improve livelihoods, although it could also exacerbate existing inequalities.
The aim of this conference is to explore how technologies of 4IR could be applied to manage professions and livelihoods.
