Four Outstanding UTAMU Students Awarded

Two Undergraduate and two Postgraduate students were awarded for demonstrating exceptional academic performance in the graduating class of 2017.

The best male student at Postgraduate level was Mr. Owen Andrew Kalule with a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (CGPA=4.88).

The best female student was Ms. Kemigisha Mariam with a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management (CGPA=4.79). Both students were from the School of Business and Management (SBM).

At Undergraduate level, Michael Muhumuza was the best male student with a Bachelor of Information Systems and Technology with CGPA=4.83 and Ashah Mbwali with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (CGPA= 4.34) was the best female student in the School of Computing and Engineering.

The Chancellor, HE Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka awarded the best students with UTAMU branded plaques and also offered a one year-full study scholarship to pursue a Masters degree of their choice.

The Vice Chancellor applauded the best students upon the excellent performance pledged to recruit them as UTAMU staff if they emerged winners at Master’s level.

This was during the 3rd UTAMU Graduation ceremony that saw over 250 students awarded with Diplomas, Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Master’s Degrees.
