UTAMU Rotaract Marks One Year as a Chartered Club

The Rotaract Club of Uganda Technology and Management University (RUTAMU) on 23rd February 2017 its first ever Charter Night.

RUTAMU celebrated three (3) years of service and one year as a chartered club under the theme: "Serving humanity with an open mind". The celebration was held at UTAMU campus in Kiswa, Bugolobi.

The club hosted more than 150 Rotaractors from different walks at the ceremony who later in the night were indulged in cocktails and dance.

“This has been done as one of the initiatives of RUTAMU to increase people's awareness of the University,” ASP Owomugisha said. The celebration which kicked off few minutes past 6:00pm, ended late in the night.

“We as the Rotaract club of UTAMU send out our sincere appreciations for your unceasing support towards our club through the various ways, for helping with community work and financially especially towards the club projects,” said Diana Nanyonjo, Vice President Utamu Guild 2016-2017 and Member of the Rotaract financial committee. 

“It’s with your support that we are able to be the most outstanding club in the university among the many existing,” she added.
