Senior Legal and Administrative Officer
Mr. Tumwesige holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Makerere University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Law Development Centre, and a Diploma in Law. He brings practical legal experience from Sanywa Wabwire & Co. Advocates, where he has served as a Legal Assistant since 2022, gaining experience in legal document drafting, legal research, communication and problem-solving.
He has also undertaken legal internship experience at the Chief Magistrates Court, Kanoni, where he gained exposure to legal advisory, litigation and corporate governance. In addition, his experience as a Parish/Subcounty Supervisor with the Electoral Commission provided him with experience in administration and coordination, monitoring and supervision, record keeping and documentation.
Mr. Tumwesige brings with him skills in legal research, problem-solving, communication, teaching and basic computer applications, as well as proficiency in English and Luganda.
He suppors the University Secretary’s Office in legal, governance and administrative matters, working closely with the Office and relevant University departments.
