Dr. Donald Mark Omong
Head of Department of Political, Administrative & Comm. Sciences / Senior Lecturer
Dr. Donald Mark Omong is currently a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences, Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU).
He holds an International PhD in “Model Based Public Planning, Policy Design, and Management-System Dynamics” (University of Palermo, University of Bergen, Radboud University of Nijmegen). He also holds a Master of Public Policy (American University in Cairo) and a Master of Business Administration (Amity University).
Dr. Omong is the second person from the African continent to obtain the International PhD in “Model Based Public Planning, Policy Design, and Management-System Dynamics” He is also a founding member of Africa Policy Centre. He has many years of experience engaging in public policy issues from Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, and Europe. He is a member of CED4, the System Dynamics group of University of Palermo (Italy).
