Mr. Okello is an accomplished business Consultant, administrator, entrepreneur, and commercial accountant with over 19 years of professional experience spanning business management, procurement, financial management, marketing, and strategic consultancy across Uganda and the United Kingdom. Currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship at Kabale University, blending both rigorous academic grounding and extensive real-world industry practice.
Dennis holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA-Global) from London Metropolitan University - UK, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University - UK, Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University, as well as professional qualifications in ACCA and CPA.
He combines extensive hands-on leadership and commercial experience, including directing a multi-sector consultancy firm and translating business strategy into implementable marketing, rebranding and integrated communication programmes, with previous experience at Connect Public Relations Ltd, Acumen Entrepreneurship Solutions, Lowe Scanad Uganda, Gobar & Co. Accountants – UK and 3R International Limited. He has worked with organizations across financial services, technology, FMCG, humanitarian and development sectors, giving him a practical understanding of strategy, business growth, commercial decision-making, financial sustainability and value creation.
Dennis also brings strong expertise in academic leadership and research, institutional administration, teaching and training, entrepreneurship, financial and strategic management, marketing, and organisational development, enabling him to effectively bridge academic knowledge with practical business experience.
