Knowledge, diversity, transformation and change are a reality that must be embraced to realize progression, development and growth in the leadership of Professor Eddy Kurobuza Tukamushaba, the Vice Chancellor of Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU). Prof. Eddy Tukamushaba joined UTAMU in November 2021 with a firm belief that the UTAMU family are morally obliged to have the highest expectations of themselves to be able to serve the student body with excellent outputs.
With dedication, perseverance and hard work, UTAMU will rise to becoming the MIT of Africa in the near future. He is mindful of the UTAMU motto “FOR AN OPEN MIND” which brings an open mind, a positive attitude and high expectations which is expectant and to which we owe the students and the community in a consistent, diligent and warm education environment.
Prof. Eddy is highly experienced and accomplished in hospitality and Tourism Business Management and a marketing educator with over 20 years of teaching and research experience nationally and globally. His leadership is one with a breadth of knowledge and experience.
