Small, Medium, and Micro-Enterprises (SMMEs) drive economic growth, jobs, and innovation in East Africa. However, turning a business idea into a compliant, scalable company requires more than passion. It takes commercial skills, legal knowledge, and digital adaptability. Many new entrepreneurs struggle to survive due to weak financial literacy, poor compliance, and unstructured marketing. At the same time, they must handle rapid digital shifts and strict domestic tax laws.
This curriculum bridges the gap between ideas and execution. By balancing business mindset with practical skills, compliance, and digital tools, it equips founders and managers to start, run, and scale resilient businesses in a volatile market.
