Dr. Mike Barongo is a member Board of Directors at Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU).

Dr. Mike Barongo holds a PhD in Mathematical Modeling from University of Pretoria, South Africa.

He has over 25 years of teaching experience, 10 of which are at senior management of a public university.  His interests are founded in: Modeling of Dynamic Systems, Big data analytics, Systems deployment & integration, System requirements elicitation & management, Higher Education Management and Agro-Environmental conservation.
