Mrs. Anny Katabaazi-Bwengye
Vice Chancellor
Mrs. Anny Katabaazi-Bwengye has extensive working experience in Institutions of Higher Learning both public and private in Uganda and the United Kingdom with the following responsibilities;
- Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance & Administration) at Kabale University from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2025.
- Operations / Human Resources at Queensworth SMC from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2020.
- Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance & Administration) from 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2018 at Uganda Christian University.
- Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance & Administration) since May 2013 to 31st March 2014 – Uganda Christian University.
- Manager/Director of Human Resource &Administration from 2009 to 31st March 2014 – Uganda Christian University.
- Operations Director from February 2004 to April 2009 – Nottingham University/ Health Protection Agency.
- Human Resource Manager from 2000 to Jan 2004 – NTU.
- Human Resource Administrator from 1997 to 1999 – NTU.
She has held a number of leadership and Management positions that have entailed the simultaneous overseeing of several departments/functions. I am aware and understand the relevant policies and legal framework for financial Management, budgeting, resource mobilization, human resource Management
/ planning, financial planning & implementation and strategic Management for several years in institutions of higher learning.
She has extensive experience in the governance of Institutions of higher education and have served on several boards / committee as a Member or Secretary; University Councils, Appointments Boards, Audit & Risk Management, Planning & Development Committee, Finance Committees, Resource mobilization Committees, Health & Safety Committees and Security Planning and Implementation Committee.
