The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has approved Uganda Technology And Management University (UTAMU) to conduct Open, Distance and E-learning (ODeL) following an inspection visit made by the NCHE team at the university during the lockdown. NCHE thoroughly assessed the university’s preparedness for online teaching and learning and in the letter dated 13th October 2020, NCHE granted UTAMU permission to roll-out emergency ODeL for all its programmes.
