Maureen Twikirize

Ms. Maureen Twikirize serves as the Academic Registrar of UTAMU. Before being appointed the Academic Registrar, she served as Principal Officer and Manager (Senate Affairs) at UTAMU. She also previously served as Registrar/Administrator at the School of Computing and IT/College of Computing and Information Sciences, Makerere University.

Other positions she has held include: User Support-Technology Department, Enfield Council-Edmonton Green Library, UK; Team Administrator-Risk, Assurance and Governance/PA to Associate Director of Clinical Governance, Risk and Assurance Department, West Hertfordshire NHS Trust-Watford General Hospital, UK; and Librarian at UTAMU.

She holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences and Master of Science in Information Science both from Makerere University and other several professional certificates obtained from the United Kingdom.
