Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) held its 10th Graduation Ceremony on 21 November 2025, celebrating a decade of academic excellence and its growing role in shaping Uganda’s digital transformation. Leaders urged the Class of 2025 to embrace AI-driven change, practice integrity in a challenging professional environment, and champion technology that serves humanity.
UTAMU highlighted major achievements, including new accredited programmes such as the Master of AI & Data Science, Master of Laws, and Bachelor of Laws, plus pioneering partnerships with the Uganda Law Society to introduce Postgraduate Diplomas in Digital Literacy and Artificial Intelligence.
The university also celebrated outstanding student innovation, including winning the IEEE CS SYP TechX Hackathon and top performance in the UCC Cyber Stars Competition 2025.
A total of 360 graduands from 12 countries completed their studies, with Mr. Allan Ninyesiga recognized as the best overall student (CGPA 4.83).
UTAMU’s 10-year milestone affirms its commitment to producing ethical, tech-savvy graduates ready to lead Uganda’s digital future.
