Ms. Esther Kirabo
Director, Quality Assurance
Ms. Esther Kirabo is the Director, Quality Assurance at Uganda Technology And Management University.
Ms. Kirabo holds a Master’s Degree in Management Studies (Human Resource Management) and Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource from Management Uganda Management Institute. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School.
Ms. Kirabo is an accomplished Human Resource professional with over nine years of progressive experience leading strategic initiatives, institutional compliance processes, and organizational development functions across both national and international Organizations within the development sectors.
She has a strong background in managing performance frameworks, policy implementation, systems strengthening, and quality assurance—all critical pillars in advancing institutional excellence. Her career has included key leadership roles where she successfully oversaw regulatory and donor compliance, and fostered inclusive, high-performing organizational cultures.
With extensive experience working across diverse and dynamic environments, Ms. Kirabo has also provided oversight for multidisciplinary teams, ensured that people, systems, and processes work in harmony to support long-term institutional success. She has previously worked with IntraHealth International under UNICEF and USAID Projects, worked with the Production for Improved Nutrition (PIN) funded by the USAID and Implemented by Reco Industries Ltd.
Ms. Kirabo is widely recognized for her integrity, dependability, and proactive leadership. As Director Quality Assurance at UTAMU, she will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality standards across academic and administrative functions. Her appointment underscores the university’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, institutional accountability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
As Director, Quality Assurance she builds directly on this foundation—bridging her deep understanding of institutional systems, labor law, policy implementation, and people-centered leadership with her commitment to upholding academic and operational excellence. Esther is known as a trusted Quality Assurance Advisor, passionate about helping teams make data-driven decisions, supporting compliance, and cultivating strong, collaborative relationships at all levels.
