It’s compulsory for all graduates to wear academic regalia applicable (hat and gown with coloured sash) to the degree they’re being awarded at the ceremony. No regalia means no ceremony, sorry. Photography is a big part of every graduation, with a professional photographer in attendance before, during and after the ceremony. Due to COVID-19 SOP, you will not be allowed to come with your photographer.

You should be able to get photographers at the graduation venue.

At the ceremony

To make your graduation day go as smoothly as possible, you’ll need to do a little forward planning.

  • You will sit according to your degree/ diploma/ certificate group.
  • Certificates and academic transcripts will be ready for you to collect on the graduation day.
CLEARING WITH FINANCE

Make sure that you clear your fees to zero balance. No student will be allowed to graduate with any outstanding fees balance.
