- Pathways out of Poverty Project (https://sites.duke.edu/krishna/democratic-governance/). We are tracking retrospective data on poverty dynamics in Uganda to provide empirical data on the drivers for becoming poor and escaping poverty since 1979 in Uganda.

The key question that his project asks is: how can free range chicken be the vehicle for improving household income and child nutrition in Uganda’s rural villages? We are implementing a pilot project in rural Eastern Uganda.

We are collaborating with Makerere University and other Social Work training institutions region to promote Social Work education and practice in East Africa.
