Accounting
Accounting is central to any business. Accountants provide information required for assessing past performance, present operations, and planned future activities. A degree in accounting prepares you for careers in both private and public sector. Additionally, a degree in accounting enables students to qualify for the certified public accountancy studies. Some of the careers in accounting among others include; Auditors, tax consultants, public accountants.
Economics
Economics prepares students for careers in private and public sectors among which include careers in banking, insurance, academia, economic policy analysis among others. Economists’ research, collect and analyze data, economic trends, and develop forecasts
Finance
Finance prepares students to analyze and use financial data. Careers in finance require strategic decisions made by drawing on a knowledge of accounting, economics, regulation, and risk. Some of the careers in finance include among others, financial advisors, risk analysts, corporate investment bankers, insurance underwriters.
